For those who want the design to be flush with the frame, this is an 8.5x8.5 top layer that you can cut on 12x12 cardstock and place over your completed project.

oh that's funny. It JUST occurred to me immediately after posting my question. If you did so, the circle would also become larger which you don't want! :) or the gingerbread or the nativity. I get it now!
Can you explain why there is a need for this? I must not understand. Can you not just ungroup the design and enlarge the one layer to the desired size? To me that seems easier than what you are describing here. Thanks!
